Ubon Ratchathani is the largest province in Isaan (Northeastern of Thailand). The name Ubon Ratchathani means "Lotus City". This major province combines prehistoric culture, ancient customs, traditions and arts. It is the first place in Thailand where you can see the sun rising.

Ubon is well known for its Traditional and colorful Candle Procession. It is about is 630 Kilometers from Bangkok.
